Disney+ Debuts Three Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials

After 60 years, the TARDIS is landing on DisneyPlus. Today, Disney Branded Television and BBC jointly announced that on Nov. 25, 2023, Disney+ will debut the first of three Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials called The Star Beast.
The three specials, which will also be available on BBC, will feature returning fan favorites David Tennant as the Doctor and Catherine Tate as Donna Noble. They will be joined by Neil Patrick Harris as the villainous the Celestial Toymaker.
The Star Beast is written by Russell T Davies, who is returning to Doctor Who as showrunner for the 60th anniversary specials and beyond. Davies was the showrunner for Doctor Who from 2005 to 2010, and he is credited with reviving the series.
The two other specials will air in 2023. The titles and airdates have not yet been announced.
