Borussia Dortmund Appoints Edin Terzic as New Manager

Experienced Coach Takes Helm of German Giants

Dortmund, Germany –

Borussia Dortmund have announced the appointment of Edin Terzic as their new manager on a three-year deal. The 36-year-old has been promoted from his role as the club's assistant manager, where he has worked for the past four years.

Terzic replaces Marco Rose, who left Dortmund at the end of the season to join RB Leipzig. He inherits a team that finished second in the Bundesliga last season and reached the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Terzic is a former player who spent his career in Germany's lower leagues. He began his coaching career with Borussia Dortmund's youth teams before being appointed as assistant manager in 2018. He has also been the head coach of the German national under-21 team.

The new Dortmund manager is known for his attacking style of play and his ability to get the best out of young players. He will be hoping to lead Dortmund to their first Bundesliga title since 2012.

Dortmund's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, said: "Edin is a young and ambitious coach who has already shown his qualities at this club. We are convinced that he is the right man to lead us forward and achieve our goals."

Terzic said: "I am very proud to be the new manager of Borussia Dortmund. This is a great club with a rich history and a passionate fan base. I am excited to work with this team and help them achieve their full potential."
